Council Agendas & Newsletters

Public requesting to be on the agenda at council meeting must complete an agenda request form (see link below) and return to the Village Office by 4:00 p.m. the THURSDAY before the scheduled meeting.

PUBLIC AGENDA REQUEST FORM

The Village of Hemingford encourages all residents to attend the monthly City Council meetings allowing everyone the opportunity to hear, first-hand, the projected goals and on-going projects to improve our community.  The Board of Trustees encourage suggestions and ideas from our residents in order to keep the Village progressively moving forward.
Meetings are held at the Council Chambers located at 700 Box Butte Ave. at 6:00 p.m.  See Council Meetings upcoming meetings.

Hemingford Code 8-201 Article 2. Sidewalks

8-201 Sidewalks; Kept Clean. It shall be unlawful for the occupant of any lot or lots or the owner of any vacant lot or lots within the corporate limits to allow snow sleet, mud, ice or other substance to accumulate on the sidewalks or to permit any snow, sleet, ice, mud, or other substance to remain upon said sidewalk. All sidewalks within the business district shall be cleaned within five (5) hours after the cessation of a storm, unless the storm or fall of snow shall have taken place during the night, in which case the sidewalk shall be cleaned before eight (8:00) o’clock AM the following day: provided, sidewalks within the residential areas of the Municipality shall be cleaned within twenty-four (24) hours after the cessation of the storm.
